Cruising into our Centenary

Sailing on the Norfolk Broads has been part of our holiday programme since 1948. This year we had twenty four young people and five beautiful traditional broads yachts and a lively half-decker. Beautiful sunshine and good winds made for a memorable holiday on which we travelled much of the rivers Bure and Thurne passing famous landmarks such as Potter Heigham Bridge (duck your head), St Bennetts Abbey and the village of Horning. Living together on a boat and escaping the distractions of modern technology gives a sense of pilgrimage where there is space to know God’s presence. At West Runton Holidays we want young people to know faith in Jesus both in quiet but also in the excitement and bustle of activities - and there was plenty of that! Broads Adventure was a memorable holiday and bookings are already open for 2020.
