Grants and Special Offers
Our activity and adventure holidays offer excellent value but we never want a lack of funds to get in the way of a young person attending one of our holidays. Part of our mission, and one of the reasons we fund raise, is to subsidise the places of young people who would otherwise be unable to afford the full fee. The application process is designed to be as easy as possible and aims to include a wider group of families for whom paying for an extra holiday is difficult.
There are four different grant funds listed below that we work closely with and there is no limit to the number of applications that can be made. Most of them offer part-funding, so we suggest you start by applying to one and if you then find you need additional support you can also apply to another too. If you are confused about the process and need help, drop our holiday manager Michelle an email on: info@westrunton.org.uk
1. Runton Dolphin Trust - we suggest you apply here first for all our holidays other than Dolphin Launchpad (see number 2 below)
To apply for a grant towards the cost of a holiday, please contact the West Runton Grants Administrator, Sue Finch. You can email Sue - grants@westrunton.org.uk. She will send you an application form to fill out, and will be more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have.
2. The Gilbert Trust - FOR DOLPHIN LAUNCHPAD ONLY
The Gilbert Trust specifically provides grants for children attending our Dolphin Launchpad holiday - we therefore suggest for those attending Dolphin Launchpad that they apply for funding here first, and then if they need additional funding they can apply for one of the other two listed.
To apply send an email to treasuer David Morgan - david.j.morgan33@btinternet.com who will provide you with the short application form to complete.
3. The Leavers Coulson Trust
The Leavers Coulson Trust supports disadvantaged young people aged 7 to 19 to attend Christian residential holidays. They provide grants as additional sources of funding (ie where a family has paid some themselves; or a church has made a contribution; or a grant from elsewhere has already been sought first). They will not accept applications from family members, so normally a youth group leader/church leader will need to help you apply.

4. David Chilcott Fund
The David Chilcott fund assists children and young people to attend Christian Holidays. They can normally fund up to a third of the holiday costs and will communicate directly with our Holiday Manager to let us know that a grant has been awarded. They can be used as a sole source of grants or in addition to one of the above sources.
