Young people jumping on summer camp

As an organisation, we are committed to the safeguarding of all children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend West Runton Holidays.

What protocols do we have in place?

  • We have a dedicated safeguarding policy and an independent safeguarding advisor who advises our trustees

  • We take up references and an enhanced DBS check for all team members

  • Each holiday will have a designated safeguarding lead

  • All team members have to undertake a Level 2 (or equivalent) training in safeguarding children

  • Each holiday will have a team training day which will include specific safeguarding training related to their holiday setting

  • All team members have access to our on-call safeguarding support for any queries arising during our holidays. Our on-call Safeguarding Support is provided by Christian Safeguarding Services - for information on their organisation please click here to see their website.
