What covid-19 mitigations do you have in place on your holidays?

All our holidays are run in line with current government guidance. Current government guidance does not require any specific covid-19 mitigations but we continue to ensure good hygiene practice is followed including frequent hand washing. We also reserve the right to ask a participant to take a covid-19 test if they become symptomatic during one of our holidays.

What if the holiday I book gets cancelled?

If it becomes clear that a planned holiday can’t go ahead in line with the relevant government guidance, we will cancel it in good time and issue a full refund for all bookings. Money for bookings is held in a separate ‘ring-fenced’ account to ensure it is protected for this purpose.

What if the holiday runs, but I’m not comfortable sending my child?

If you have concerns about the safety of your child on our holidays, please contact your holiday leader to discuss your concerns at the earliest opportunity. It may not be possible to provide a refund if a holiday goes ahead under government guidelines and your child does not attend.

What if the holiday runs, but my child needs to self isolate and can’t attend?

If your child is unable to attend one of our holidays due to circumstances relating to Covid-19 and which are out of your control, our trustees will consider a refund based on a case by case basis. You may be asked for evidence of the need to self isolate, and such refunds are at the discretion of the trustees. This may not apply if you are required to isolate following a return to the UK, so please avoid international travel in the ten days prior to the start of the holiday.

What happens if my child contracts covid-19 while on a holiday?

If your child contracts covid-19 while on one of our holidays, we will contact you to arrange for you to collect your child in a private vehicle as soon as possible. Please ensure a member of your household is available to collect your child if required. Your child will be required to self-isolate while awaiting collection, and we have contingency plans in place on each of our holidays to ensure that this is a safe and comfortable experience.

Do you offer financial support?

Grants are available to support children whose family wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford our holidays. Click here for more details.
